Description
A piece based on Neptune/Poseidon, a kind of universal sea god image for my exam sketchbook.
At the moment I'm doing a bit of research into mythology for the project, and found out that the Greek Poseidon and the Roman Neptune are actually very simlar and have been given a lot of the same characteristics.
They both carry a trident, both are associated with horses and, of course, the sea 
Oh, and most strangely they're both are also believed to be the force behind earthquakes 
Done with acrylic paint

Wow, you've improved in drawing people a lot! I really like how you drew the face and colored the skin. 
I've heard that some Roman/Greek gods are similar, but the part about earthquakes is completely new to me.
